It took me 6 months to write 36 000 words. Yep, it's crazy! The journey of writing Until Death Do Us Apart wasn't the easiest and all I wanted to do was give up. Like most people, I was super excited after getting the idea to turn my poem into a book.

As I started writing the first few chapters, I was flowing... I couldn't stop typing. All the words came naturally, I didn't have to think too much about them. Then, the distractions came... Because of my education and my work, I couldn't give the book my 100%. That's when it started getting harder & harder to get my creative juices flowing.

I then took a 2 months break... Honestly, There was no good reason for me to do that. I was just being a coward. I couldn't handle the reality that even writing fiction requires a lot of work and dedication, so I ran. Instead of sticking around and continuing to write, I stopped.

Luckily for me, I came across multiple videos talking about not giving up on something you really want. They helped realize that indeed, I wanted to finish that novel. I began seeing it in my dreams and couldn't get it off my mind. I was motivated to start writing again.

Long story short, I didn't give up when it was really hard and today, I look at my book and thank myself for keeping on. Right now I feel it was so worth all those sleepless nights writing, editing, designing. Yes, It wasn't easy but it was definitely worth it.

So, if you have that one thing you truly want, no matter how big or small, Go after it with all you have... Don't give up when it gets difficult.
