1 January 2020 is the beginning of a new era.

Not only is it a New Year ( A Leap Year) , it is also the beginning of a new decade.
So please , try your best to leave all that negative energy this year , don't bring it to the new era . If you take it with you , you will continue to stagnate while others grow all around you.

Observe your life , Are you happy with it ? If not , something has to change. I know you know your bad habits , but trying to just stop them doesn't work most of the time. You have to replace them with new , good habits.

You don't know where to start ? Let me give you a number of things you might add on your  resolutions list : 

1. Write It Down

- The first resolution on your resolution list is to write your resolutions down. Not Type it but actually write it. Not only does the act of writing broaden your thinking , it also helps to have a list you see everyday. 

2. Read 

- It's very important to keep feeding your mind but what's even more important is "What" you feed it. When it comes to books, Choose wisely. You'd wanna choose books that align with your purpose/ passion and those you'd benefit from reading. I highly recommend nonfiction books.

3. Hydrate yourself

- OMG ! I cannot emphasize enough on the value of water in our bodies . We simply cannot survive without water but drinking more than 8 glasses per day could help clear your skin , help you lose weight and keep you healthy. Water is life !!

4. Be more kind.

- Not only to the people in your circle but also to strangers and most importantly , be more kind to yourself . Don't say things to yourself that you wouldn't say to another human being.

5. Be positive

- Train your mind to always look for the positive in most situations. Through every hardship comes a lesson , embrace that . I'm not saying lie to yourself but I am saying , look carefully. There is always something to be thankful for.

6. Gratitude Journal

- Have a journal where you write down everything you're thankful for , even things such as having breath upon your lungs . Thank the Universe or God ( Whoever you praise) for the things you want as if you already have them. Show gratitude.

See ? A resolution list doesn't only have to consist of material things. Add everything you think will contribute to a meaningful , purpose-filled life. Remember , everything is attainable , even if it takes a long time.
